  • Our program is designed to help students come to a deeper understanding of who they are academically and discover their own process for learning.  The one-on-one relationship the student cultivates with our coach will empower him to strive not survive. Our main objective is to see our students develop self-awareness of how they learn, to learn what strategies work best for them, and to be able to advocate for themselves.

  • While a tutor focuses on helping students understand content in a specific academic subject, an executive function coach helps students develop fundamental skills that facilitate their learning process. Coaches help students develop a growth mindset, understand who they are as a student, and figure out which strategies work best for them to improve their overall functioning. While a tutor addresses what to learn, an executive function coach addresses how to learn effectively, overcome challenges, and develop a longer-term perspective.
